John C. Bryant, Founder

September 11, 1924 - July 19, 2005

Often called "The Father of Cochituate."

John founded the John C. Bryant Funeral Home in 1968 with the personal Commitment "to serve others as he would be served." To this day his daughter Cynthia F. Bryant has dedicated her efforts to continuing her fathers tradition.

It was known by all that John's lovely "bride", Lorraine F. (Campbell) Bryant (November 11, 1923 - May 17, 2005) was a devoted wife and avid supporter of all John's life long ambitions. They first met in their second grade classroom at the former Cochituate Elementary School. Their love for one another grew and became so strong that upon the quiet passing of Lorraine Bryant; John died of a broken heart in just 63 days, on Juy 19, 2005. Although their presence is missed by many, their love, dedication and commitment to helping others continues to this day.
